Every pivot door is built with an engineered steel core. This allows it to accommodate nearly any size and location. The steel core provides a rigid foundation to the pivot door to resist warping or sagging.

Other pivot doors without a steel core experience warping and sagging long-term. We wrap our pivot doors with a solid wood facing allowing you to finish the door to match other wood finishes in the house. Our windows come equipped with breather tubes to accommodate site acclimation. Our pivot doors are engineered to seal on all four sides to accommodate extreme site conditions.

We ship pivot doors worldwide via curbside freight delivery, with insured shipments to ensure they arrive in perfect condition.

Please have 3–4 people available to receive the pivot door upon delivery.

Shipping within the lower 48 states is a flat rate, with transit taking 3–5 business days after production. Shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, Canada and other international destinations are also available.

Each of our pivot doors is built with a durable steel core and wrapped in a solid wood face. This means that the pivot door needs to be protected with a finish at all times. We recommend recoating the wood every 6 months to 2 years, depending on exposure.

Occasionally, minor adjustments may be needed as the pivot door settles after installation to ensure smooth operation. Our pivot hardware is designed to last over 50 years, so the wood face is the only part requiring regular maintenance.

All of our door systems are preassembled in our factory and then disassembled for shipping, making reassembly and installation straightforward – typically just a couple of hours. While larger doors can be heavy and may require multiple people, the installation is simpler than it may seem. We recommend hiring an installer hourly as the task may look daunting but universally is easier than expected. Installation instructions are included with every order, and the setup requires no more prep than a standard door.

Generally, installation involves reassembling the jamb on the floor on-site, standing the jamb in the opening, securing it with screws, standing the door leaf on the pivot, adjusting as needed, and finishing with casement or trim as desired.
